The school plays an active role in the promotion of sport as a leisure and recreational activity for students. The school program aims to developskills and knowledge of a wide variety of games and sports. We value ‘FAIR PLAY AND GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP’. Classes K-6 are involved in weekly sport sessions on Thursday. Full sports uniform is to be worn on these days.
Each year the school conducts swimming, athletics and cross-country carnivals. From these fixtures, primary children have a pathway to NSW and National representative honours. This pathway involves School, Regional, Diocesan, NSW Catholic Schools and NSW P.S.S.A Championships. Students also have a similar pathway to representative honours in team sports such as cricket, hockey, softball, netball, basketball, tennis, rugby league, touch football and rugby union.
Our school is very well resourced with sporting equipment and our gross motor room provides all children with opportunities to develop their gross motor skills.
